My name is Khairul, a programmer who is currently unemployed and working on small gigs that he could find. working as a Solution Architect in Mutiara Damansara.

I have a wide range of interest but primarily focusing on Software Development methods and quality improvements, you know all that Lean, TDD, Scrum, and other stuffs that are language agnostic skills.

Although I don’t have a lot of time to spend on pet projects, I do try to do some like Masjid & Surau, Quotes DB, and some other apps/sites (look at my portfolio). Most of the time I prefer to pet my cats and watching the news with them. To get rid all of that bad mojo feeling from death marches at work (which some experts might conclude leads to burnout, I’ve had my share, but I’m still here).

My stuffs are scattered all over the web, delicious bookmarks and all other kind of stuffs that if they were being put together piece by piece (like the nice professor Robert Langdon), it might actually lead to my doorsteps even before I come back from work!

I find myself quite proficient in what I do (based on Dreyfus Model of Skill Acquisition) but that’s just my self-assessment. Based on MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator), I’m an INTJ. Not all of it applies to me though. I belive that deadlines to be of relative, rather than absolute, importance and the process of searching for solution is more important to than the solution itself (thats why I evangelize the use of wiki).
