I’m amazed at TMnet’s folly. No manuals? I’m amazed that I finally completed this task. Although I did make a lot of phone calls to people.. most of them helped a little, but didn’t root out the problem.
Here’s my setup.

First the settings for the modem / gateway.
It is very important to disable the NAT or else it wont work. If the config are followed it should work.
For routing the outside traffic to private nodes, I used a very very useful tool (saves me from typing and making iptables scripts) is Firewall Builder (fwbuilder).
It is a GUI for configuring firewalls (iptables, ipfilter, cisco pix, openbsd pf, etc). Very nicely done. Remember to download fwbuilder-ipt (its an iptables rules compiler) first! I choose the preconfigured template for iptables (tempalte no 2) and uses "NAT rules for two servers behind the firewall, using virtual addresses on external interface" example as a guideline. It works.
