100% Height! CSS and what not.

I was looking for a way to make the viewport of a site to become 100% thus filling the browser. But I cant seem to make it do so. I searched at google css page height 100%. Tons of methods shown but none works.

Frustrated, I asked a friend. How? She also uses google, but different people use it differently, maybe she searched it using different word / keywords. But the important thing is, she found a page which contains the solution. 100% Table Height.  

The site also explains "Why Percentage Height Fails". Nice resource. I’ll note it in my wiki.
