Freeware
- Dependency Walker - A nice program that i tried when apache didnt run even though i put all the svn modules in apache’s module folder.
- 7-zip - a file archiver with high compression ratio.
- Gspot - codec information appliance.
- Xampp - I used this bundle apache/mysql/php/perl/other stuffs to deploy quickly on systems that I use. I prefer using xampplite, less steps to be done.
- Process Explorer - Frequently used by me to troubleshoot this old pc. Its about which handles and DLLs processes have opened or loaded and maybe more than that.
- SQLite Control Center - Front-end GUI that I used to view inside an SQLite database.
- Hello - Upload pictures to my blog with this software.
- Subversion - Essential part of my tools. Spared me the horror of tearing my hair off.
- Tortoise SVN - Front-end GUI for subversion on Win32.
- Audacity - I used to use Adobe Audition (formerly known as CoolEdit which I also used long time ago), but now switched to Audacity because I dont have the money to buy Adobe Audition nor do I see the need to buy it.
- Dyndns Updater - I use this software originally to update my dyndns account for remote accessing to my pc.
- Media Player Classic - This one is quite nice compared to WMP 9 / 10 which is heavy for my machine. I use it, but doesnt depend on it. Some files plays nicely on it, others plays nicely on divx player or BSPlayer.
- Syncback - Nice software. Use it for automating back up process of my files to remote locations.
Not free
- Active SMART - I used it for quite sometime when my HDD starts failing back in 2002. Couldnt remember the year.. but its probably in 2002.
- WM Recorder - Used to save streaming video from the web. I used this app for saving a videoclip about WoW - Leeroy.
New Installer and such….

Not much stuffs happen today. Husni @ Gap turned up at my house, the guy i was supposed to meet at UPM with him cancelled our meeting. The system’s submission will be postponed to Tuesday.
Browsing through ittutor’s forum, a post mention a new installer called Ghost Installer from Ethalone. Interesting indeed. I have to search for more bugs in the inventori sistem to make it a solid prototype and later will convert it into a stable solid inventory system with administration features and more.
Tomorrow going to lowyat and watch starwars. Muahaha..

Well, i finally got myself to post again. I got booted from the office on 5/05/2005. The stupid person who manages HRSC yelled at me. Well.. i couldnt blame him for it all. I just ignored him when he asked questions, “Why you didnt tell anyone when you go out?… Its company’s time.. bla bla bla”. You see how selfish people are. He didnt see how much I did. The time i gave. *Sigh*
Anyway, he forces me to take leave.. until monday 9/05/2005. I took my important things, he took the office’s keys from me. And thats it.
On 9/05/2005, I went to the office. He asked if i’m still interested to work there. I said no. No long story, no wasting time. He handed me a piece of paper.. and i wrote the resignation letter on the spot. the resignation will be effective on 15/05/2005.
I went home.
Nothing to do, yet lots of things to be done.
Bought some books and hangout at Cybercafes.
One day, 12/05/2005, while playing a game at D’Attic, a friend of mine dropped by and landed me a job as a CMS trainer under his company.
Nice.
Nowadays, played a lot of Stronghold with friends at the cc, at THIS cc (D’Attic).
There’s not much of a routine nowadays. I’m free. I do what i like. Anytime I want, as long as the job is done.
Just now i was doing a little bit of Visual Basic 6.0 (Inventory Project), I stumbled upon an article on librenix.com (which i forgot completely to visit it on a daily basis, lots of good stuff in there) about Setting up a secure SVN. In the article.. there’s a front-end gui for SVN called eSVN. I tinker with it for a while, read a little bit of the manual. Didnt manage to get it to work. It didnt even browse the repository I set up in svn/apache. I just gave up. I’ll tinker it later when it have more time at hand.
Thats about it for today. Hope to blog every day.
